A pathway will be built around Wular Lake in Kashmir.

A pedestrian (non-motorable) pathway will be built around Wular Lake in Kashmir.

This development will bring more people to the area, which will help the economy.

During the recent Wular Festival, the division commissioner talked about plans to build a path around the lake so that people can enjoy the natural beauty of the area. This year, a record number of, tourists have come to the Valley, and the walkway will only add to the lake's appeal.

The lake is in the town of Bandipora, which is in North Kashmir. It is one of the largest lakes in Southeast Asia. This lake is a great example of how rich this place is in terms of natural resources and it helps keep the area's biodiversity. Wular Lake is one of India's biggest freshwater lakes, covering nearly 200 square kilometres. The lake's basin is thought to have been made by the movement of tectonic plates, which makes it stand out.

Wular Lake is also at the top of the list of places where bird watchers go.

Here, you can see rare species like the alpine swift and the Himalayan woodpecker.

The people who live around the lake are also happy about the news since it will help protect the lake.
